Between volcano and ocean, EcoHotel El Agua is an adults-only holistic health sanctuary created by Anthony Picq. Located in the heart of the historic village of Arico El Nuevo, in the subtropical valleys of southern Tenerife, this exceptional place rejuvenates body and mind in a peaceful atmosphere and a preserved natural setting. Founded on the principles of naturopathy and Hippocratic medicine, it invites guests to full awareness of the five senses and to self-healing. Visitors can experience various practices: yoga, watsu (shiatsu in warm water), ice bathing, breathing techniques and guided relaxation. The experience is enriched with jazz or classical music concerts in a natural cave, as well as cycling excursions and hikes to explore the island.

Villa Mimosa

Among the retreat’s signature accommodations, Villa Mimosa embodies the balance between nature and sophistication. This two-bedroom villa offers two elegant bathrooms, large dressing rooms, two separate toilets and a heated infinity pool with spectacular views over a ravine. Its organic design blends lines inspired by mid-century modernism and Mediterranean textures, enhanced by terracotta, marble and unique handcrafted pieces from Morocco. Designed to combine aesthetics and comfort, Villa Mimosa is an invitation to deep disconnection in the spirit of EcoHotel El Agua’s signature well-being.

Villa Olivo

Another emblematic refuge of the estate, Villa Olivo occupies a two-century-old stone house that once sheltered wine-growing farmers. Elegantly restored, it opens onto sleek, minimalist spaces extended by a vast 250 m² terrace with jacuzzi and heated saltwater pool, sheltered from view. Raw materials, mineral tones and natural light compose a universe true to the property’s wabi-sabi aesthetic, for an intimate and soothing experience in the heart of the olive trees.

To further enrich the inner journey, the property houses a spa designed according to the principles of Feng Shui. This calming space, combining modern equipment and an enveloping atmosphere, welcomes skilled therapists who offer treatments and massages using traditional techniques and natural products.
