The Pandolfo is named after a colonel of the great leader Gian Giacomo Medici, considered as one of the most significant soldiers of his times.This large room of 80 m2, overlooks the Arno, is characterized by an intricate wood ceiling, 18th century valences and a sandstone fireplace. A mezzanine separates the double room from the lounge and will delight you with its view of the river. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with a double shower unit. A guest bathroom also is available. The Suite Orazio is named after one of the most important intellectuals of the 17th century Tuscan cultural life. The Grand Suites City View are the Suite Gisla or the Bindaccio. The Gisla Suite is named after the first woman of the Ricasoli family to have appeared in historic documents. This 86 m2 suite features a vaulted ceiling decorated with 18th century frescoes and stucco. It is composed of a main room, 50m2, with a double bed or twin beds, an en-suite master bathroom with a shower framed in sandstone stone, a studio that can be used as a second bedroom, guest toilet and walk-in dressing room. The Suite Bindaccio is named after one of the great military experts of his period. He extended the family property incorporating other estates. The suite is measuring 96 sq. meters on two floors, with a decorated ceiling inspired by work of art of Sol Le-Witt. The Suite Ugo is named after a cardinal who was a crucial mediator for peace in Venice between emperor Frederick Barbarossa and Pope Alexander III. Looking onto piazza Goldoni, the 80 sq. metre suite is on two floors and features a pretty decorated wooden ceiling with gilding. The sitting room is downstairs, with a large entrance hall and cloakroom. The double or twin bedroom is upstairs and looks onto the living room, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with shower. Maximum occupancy : 2 persons. The Giovanbattista Suite is named after a bishop and diplomatic negotiator of duke Cosimo de’ Medici. He was one of the most renowned political celebrities in Florence in the 16th century. The Suite, 75 sq. metres is on two floors, with a view on the Arno river. The Suite Giuliana was named after the baroness Giuliana, the most well-known member of the family between the end of the 19th and the mid-20th centuries, thanks to her role in the enhancement of historic assets and in her family’s entrepreneurial activities. She is still remembered as a benefactress, especially for the Red Cross. The 66 sq. metre suite has two windows overlooking the Arno river, and features an 18th century pelmet and large crystal chandelier.
