A gourmet event at the Banjaran

The Hotel Banjaran in Malaysia launches from the 26 October to the 6 November 2011, a special gourmet event featuring Lawrence Aboucaya, founder of the Pousse-Pousse restaurant in Paris. The event, aptly titled “Some Like it Green,” is a one of a kind gourmet food festival that celebrates the incredible benefits of natural foods with antioxidants, detoxifying ingredients, and anti-stress and anti-weight gain concentrations.

Christopher Dodds, an Australian native, started his training under the supervision of Chef Steve Szabo at Pallazo Versace (first hotel signed by Donatella Versace) and now manages “The Restaurant" of the new boutique hotel “The Club at The Saujana”. Chris Dodds selects his ingredients by amongst other things, taking into account the seasons. He also insists on bringing in the best products from abroad to ensure his kitchen is run according to only the best of influences.

Protecting the turtles

Gem Island Resort & Spa, located a few kilometres from the east coast of Malaysia, is one of those addresses one is tempted to keep just for oneself.
