TemptingPlaces is an Internet website made up of 3 areas that allows internet users to find all information necessary to prepare trips, including the possibility to book hotels.

The TemptingPlaces team is independent and selects hotels to include on TemptingHotels to help the internet user find unique and authentic hotels, places that offer the possibility to experience a unique and extraordinary experience. TemptingPlaces is NOT a travel agency and only puts internet users in contact with hotels, free of charge for the users.

TemptingMag offers information on the destinations and also allows internet users to continue their trip by uploading their photos, by finding cooking recipes, by listening to exotic radios...

TemptingEvents offers another complement for internet users to better prepare their trip and includes information as calendars, spots... including photos and videos as a foretaste of the trip.

Tempting Hotels' general terms and conditions of sales

TemptingPlaces makes available for internet users information and technology, including a reservation system on TemptingHotels («Our Reservation System»).

The following stipulations establish the general terms conditions of sale of the TemptingPlaces.com website published by the company 2Lnet SARL.

The terms and conditions defined below apply to hotel stay reservation services as well as to any of the hotels' services that you could book with the website www.TemptingPlaces.com. We reserve the right to change these general terms and conditions of sales with or without notice, and they shall take effect when published on TemptingPlaces.com. You agree to accept and be bound by those general terms and conditions that are in effect at the time of your use of our website. These general terms and conditions of sales are also applicable to services provided by partners utilising «Our Reservation System».

The general terms and conditions of sales are set out in several languages but in case of conflict only the French version shall prevail.

Article 1 - The reservation system

TemptingPlaces provides useful, updated and readily accessible information on charming, luxury, and hotels with personality worldwide. TemptingPlaces also facilitates a convenient way to make on-line reservations with such hotels through a system provided by a supplier, a professional provider of online availability and prices management systems, «Our Reservation System».

By accessing and using «Our Reservation System», you agree to be legally bound by these general terms and conditions of sale, which may be modified from time to time.
Additionally, by using «Our Reservation System» which is supplied by a professional supplier, you accept that your personal information may be transferred by this supplier.

Article 2 - TemptingPlaces is the intermediary between the internet user and the hotel

When you use « our reservation system » to make a reservation, the contract is established directly between you and the hotel. The hotels are responsible for the availabilities and the prices displayed at the moment of the reservation.

We are only an intermediary between you and the hotel and consequently do not have any control over the quality of the services proposed, or the costs invoiced by the hotel. We can therefore not be held responsible of potential disputes that would arise between the hotel and yourself in relation to these costs, the quality of the services, the services and installations, or others. The contract is established between you and the concerned hotel and consequently any complaint or claim will have to be formulated directly to the hotel. We cannot be held responsible with respect to mistakes or omissions made by the hotels during your reservation. You can, however, send an email to contact@TemptingPlaces.com to inform us of your experience.

The indicative and non-contractual information contained by the pages of TemptingPlace.com is provided and updated by the hotels from time to time and so, while we will try our best to ensure that such information is accurate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of such information.

The TemptingPlaces website is in no case responsible in any manner whatsoever of any incident or damage, direct or indirect, or financial or commercial prejudice resulting of the use of the website or through the consultation of pages accessible by hyperlinks present on the website.

Article 3 - Reservations

The prices displayed for sale are at maximum equal to the best prices offered by the hotel on internet websites. But they may be different from the prices published elsewhere.
«Our Reservation System» can be used differently depending on the hotels:

• The reservation can be made « on line » which means that the hotel updates the availabilities in "Our Reservation System». In this case the reservation is finalised upon your clicking on « Confirm the booking »;
• The reservation request can also be made « on request » which means that internet users, by using «Our Reservation System», can request the hotel to check if there are availabilities. The hotel commits to answer within 24 working hours and if there are availabilities, the user will be able to make his or her reservations by following the internet link of the answer and by submitting their credit card details;
• For both an « on line » or « on request » reservation, internet users may be asked to pay a deposit in order to guarantee the reservation or to prepay the booking in its totality at the time of reservation.

Once the reservation is performed online, or confirmed by the hotels working «on request», and after confirmation by the hotel concerned of valid and correct credit card information for payment, your reservation will be irrevocably binding upon your clicking on « onfirm the booking». You will receive an email confirmation of your reservation and so it is your duty to provide your accurate email address. Such confirmation will usually be made within 4 business hours after you submit your reservation order.

The confirmation email will serve as proof of valid reservation and it will contain relevant information of the reservation and particulars of the hotel. Please read and check carefully all the information contained in the email to ensure that they conform to your reservation. You are required to produce this confirmation email when you check in at the hotel.
Valid and correct credit card information will be asked for all reservations and this shall authorise the debiting of your card. You retain, however, the possibility to cancel your reservation and obtain a partial refund according to the cancellation policies defined by each hotel.

The reservations are personal and can not be assigned to a third party.

In case of declared unavailability of a hotel subsequent to the confirmation that you will have received, the responsibility of TemptingPlaces.com can not be engaged.
In case of eviction, the hotel is committed to assuming alone the fees inherent to the incident, in particular taxi fees and extra cost linked to the rehousing in a category necessarily to the minimum equivalent.

Article 4 - Payment and credit card information

For your security, online payments are made through secure servers. All payments must be made by credit card:

• VISA,
• Eurocard/MasterCard, 
• American Express.

The access to "Our Reservation System» is free of charge. When you make a hotel on-line reservation you will have to provide us with your credit card details such as its number, expiry date, and security code. To guarantee your reservation, you may be asked to pay a deposit clearly displayed through the reservation process, to provide credit card details to guarantee the payment, or to make the full payment of the reservation upon validation of the reservation. The amounts debited on your credit card will always be in the currency you will have selected. If your reservation is not confirmed, your credit card will not be charged.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will TemptingPlaces.com (2Lnet SARL) be liable for any kind of foreign exchange commissions that your bank might charge you.

The outstanding balance of the retail price of the hotel room(s) reserved, as well as all other charges which you may incur during your stay at the hotel, will be settled by you in local currency at the hotel when you check out. The taxes may or may not be included in the price of the reservation. Please read the text under the pricing information in your reservation carefully.

Article 5 - Hotel booking cancellation and no show

In order to be taken into account, cancellations must be made through "Our Reservation System», and specifically through the internet link included in the message that confirms your reservation. You can thereafter call or email the hotel directly.

Each hotel has its own terms and conditions for cancellation of validly-confirmed reservations. You are therefore strongly advised to read carefully such terms and conditions which are displayed on "Our Reservation System» before you make your reservation. You will be bound by such terms and conditions once your reservation is confirmed.

When cancelling a reservation, the deposit paid at the reservation will, in principle, not be refunded. For certain hotels, the deposit may be refunded less €20 (twenty Euros). If this is the case it will be very clearly indicated in the cancellation terms and conditions of the hotel.

Based on the terms and conditions of the hotel prevailing at the time when you made the reservation, your credit card information will be transmitted to the concerned hotel so that the hotel may directly charge to your credit card all penalties or charges for which you are liable to pay for due to the cancellation. Please note that by making the reservation through TemptingPlaces.com you unconditionally and irrevocably authorized and consent to the transmittal of your credit card information to the hotel concerned for this purpose.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will TemptingPlaces.com (2Lnet SARL) be liable for any kind of foreign exchange commissions that your bank might charge you.
In case of minors travelling and unaccompanied by adults, the reservation could be cancelled in full rights.

Your cancellation request may not be taken into consideration in case the bank card details transmitted for payment are incorrect, incomplete, or failing.

Article 6 - Interruption of stay or unused services provisions

Any interrupted stay or other services provisions unused through your own doing will not be a case for reimbursement.

Article 7 - Responsibilities

The hotel where you have made a reservation is fully responsible towards you of the good execution of its obligations resulting from the reservation.

Certain hotels do not accept reservation requests made by citizens of the country where the hotel is located. Indeed, tariffs displayed on our website, particularly for certain hotels in Asia, are valid only for foreign tourists and not for citizens or residents of the country. This policy imposed by certain hotels does not reflect the policies and values of our company and we can not be held responsible for it.

Hotels may also have different taxes for citizens or residents of the country. Please make sure to read the indications at the time of reservation.

The terms and conditions of cancellation generally include a delay for hotels to compute the exact amount of the penalties. For example, a 24 hours upfront cancellation policy means that the reservation must be cancelled 24 hours before midnight of the day preceding the arrival or check-in.

All disputes relating to cancellation of reservation shall be dealt with or settled directly between you and the hotel concerned. We will not be involved or be responsible in any way to arrange for the refund of the security deposit, to provide information needed to calculate the penalties that apply and to pass your credit card information on to the hotel concerned as aforesaid. Exception made for the refund of the security deposit according to the cancellation policy described above. No claim whatsoever shall be made by you against us in respect of any penalty or charges levied by the hotel concerned for your cancellation of reservation and you shall seek your redress, if any, directly against the hotel concerned.
The professional supplier that provides "Our Reservation System» is solely responsible for any problem arising from the « system », notably in case of loss of reservation.
We can not be held responsible for technical problems linked to Internet that could induce errors in accessing TemptingPlaces.

Article 8 - Security

"Our Reservation System» adopts SSL encoding protocols to secure and protect your credit card information. However, any losses incurred or sustained by you in transmitting information shall be borne solely and exclusively by you. If you are using a public computer for "Our Reservation System», you should sign out from your TemptingPlaces account after you have finished using it.

We specifically raise your attention to the fact that TemptingPlaces uses a cookie to remember your identity. Thus you can automatically be logged in when you use TemptingPlaces. Should you not want to benefit from this feature then do not forget to log out to protect your account and its private information.

Article 9 - Disclaimer

By using "Our Reservation System» you agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations concerning your use of « Our Services » and we will not assume any responsibility thereof. It is also your own responsibility to obtain your valid Visa (if necessary) and comply with all local health and custom requirements applicable to the place you are going to visit.

Without prejudice to the generality of the matters aforesaid, in the event that either we or the hotels are held liable by any court of competent jurisdiction to pay any damages or compensation to you, you agree and accept that the amount of such damages or compensation shall in no circumstances exceed the total amount of money actually paid by you to the hotel concerned for the reservation or the sum of 1,000 Euros, whichever is the least

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under the applicable law that may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit the liability of the hotel concerned to you in the case of death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.

Article 10 - Intellectual Property Rights

You do not acquire intellectual property rights nor the usage rights for denominations, signs, emblems, logos, trademarks, or brands such as "Tempting", "TemptingHotels", "TemptingPlaces", as well as all of the works protected by the 2Lnet SARL company whatever the context or planned use. For example you may not use the here above mentioned for promotional or marketing activities.

You may not use our services or packages provided by us in any package whatsoever, grouping of goods or services combining items that may potentially, according to our appreciation, damage the image of TemptingPlaces and notably, you may not include our packages in a promotional package or promotional present or premium or lottery.

All trade marks (including, but not limited to), TemptingPlaces, reproductions of design hotels logo, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the materials on this website (as well as the organisation and layout of this website) together with the underlying software code are owned either directly by 2LNet or by its licensors.

Without 2LNet's prior written permission, you may not copy, modify, alter, publish, broadcast, distribute, sell or transfer any material on this website or the underlying software code whether in whole or in part. However, the contents of this website may be downloaded, printed or copied for your personal non-commercial use.

The TemptingPlaces logo is a registered trademark and is the property of 2LNet and may not be used or reproduced without 2LNet's express written permission.

These terms and conditions and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature in relation thereto shall also be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
