The resort is also a diving base for the tiny Damaniyat islands, Oman's National Reserve and UNESCO protected sanctuary of migratory birds and untouched marine life. Two diving outings are organised in the mornings and you can use the afternoons to visit Oman or simply to take advantage of the resort activities. To ensure hassle-free diving the Al Nahda Resort and Spa also takes care of your children whilst on diving excursions.

Nestled in a an oasis of 30 hectares of mango orchards, the Al Nahda Resort & Spa is a wellness, health, and life balance haven with 108 luxurious villas decorated with style and taste.

The spacious (67m2) villas feature a private terrace surrounded by mango trees emitting a suave and resinous sweet smell. The interior of the villas are cosy, decorated with warm tones of wood and kaftans.

Children are privileged guests too. Before your arrival at the hotel do not forget to communicate the age of your children as this will allow the hotel staff to prepare special sized bathrobes and make available a tailored restaurant menu too. Card decks and games will also be available in your room upon request.

A children play area (for children of 1 to 16 years old) proposes games, a swimming pool, and bicycles.

Muscat and the hotel surroundings

True oasis in the middle of the desert, the capital of Oman is located in the middle of a fertile plain surrounded by steep rocks. The hot season is from May till August.

From the harbour, the city offers an impressive and scenic view with 16th century, Middle-Age like, crenellate walls and the blue and gold palace of the Sultan considered by the people of Oman as a symbol of the renaissance of their country.
