Exclusive Elegance

The hotel is closely linked to the history of its neighborhood. The eponymous street where Villa Madame is located has been inaugurated in 1790 by His Royal Highness, "Monsieur", the future Louis XVIII, who named it Rue Madame in honor of his wife, Marie-Josephine of Savoy, Princess of Sardinia.
The owners, Térèse Tafanel and Gilles Delfau, have chosen designer Michel Jouannet to sublimate the elegant and sophisticated atmosphere of his 18th century building. You will encounter the style in the lobby as well as in the rooms, in various shades of greige sublimated by burgundy and raspberry for the feminine touch. Alike the construction of a private house, decorative objects were chosen with care. The furniture is designed by Michel Jouannet and is produced by the most well known names in decoration: chairs and sofas SST, Delaroux or Charpentier, lamps and candlesticks edited by Pouenat, Dedari fabrics.

Madame loves flowers. Thus the hotel is adorned with original floral decorations created by Yannick Suznjev.

Exquisite touch: a plant or an orchid branch hangs on the mantel of the room to welcome you before pushing the door. The 28 rooms resemble the discreet and luxurious atmosphere of the lobby and the lounge: raw harmonies, black lacquered furniture, and wrought iron sculpture designed by Michel Jouannet and created by Francis Pouenat.

Colored touch: drawings and samples of Hermes scarf sketching, belonging to the archives of the decorator, decorate the walls. The bathrooms have the refined smell of the Hermes Eau d'Orange. Our favorite rooms are those on the fifth floor with a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Paris.

Stay in a hotel designed like a typical house of the Parisian Left Bank, elegant and subtle. Make like the locals and go shopping in the St Germain Market, have lunch at the Brasserie Lipp, shop Rue du Four, delight in macaroons at Pierre Hermé and stroll through Luxembourg Gardens. The old yard was transformed into a contemporary garden created by the floral artist Yannick Suznjev. It is a quiet place to relax during sunny days, and a fabulous spot during winter as well. Wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy a drink near the outdoor fireplace during the colder months.

The fireplace in the lounge is a very cozy aspect of the hotel. Take a book in the library, ask for a tea and a sweet treat such as an excellent homemade Financier, and make an evening out of it! Board games are also available.

Every first Thursday of each month the hotel organizes a game evening for all, allowing you to share friendly moments with new friends.
