Toque Toque means "island" in the Tupi-namás Indian tribe language and it's the name of this mysterious and desert island that faces the hotel and that can be admired from all terraces.
Edison and Renata Pavão, the owners of the Ilha de Toque Toque boutique hotel, wished to build their hotel in total harmony with its environment between sea and the Atlantic Forest. Their interest for ecology can be found in several details that characterize the 12 hotel's suites whose construction has been focused on sustainability: local wood, solar energy, salvaged materials, cotton sheets, rustic furniture... Appreciate natural simplicity by taking advantage of some high tech, such as wifi or Jacuzzi; that's the contemporary luxury that Ilha de Toque Toque offers to you.

The Tempting Experience: a dive in the Toque Toque waterfall

Let yourself be tempted by the fresh and crystal water of a cachoeira. Entirely preserved and accessible from the hotel, this 35 meters high tropical waterfall is located on the private path that leads to the Calhetas beach. An enchanting place where you'll relax, feet in the water, in front of a dragonflies and hummingbirds ballet.
