Central Park Hotel

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Zen atmosphere on Hollywood road

The Central Park Hotel is a hip boutique hotel featuring an intimate, relaxing, and Zen decoration and atmosphere. It is ideally situated in the city centre on Hollywood Road - Hong Kong's stand out street if you are looking for art galleries or antique shops. Wander around the Western district to sight Hong Kong's heritage buildings ... or stroll around Central area to discover the historic and cultural heart of the city...

This Zen boutique hotel is ideal for business trips or for those wanting to appreciate the charms of Hong Kong.

Natural light, mineral tones, warmth ... a place to feel good

The Central Park Hotel is stylishly designed with contemporary charm. Its decoration associates Philippe Stark designer furniture with hip objects like bright flaming Murano glass chandeliers.

The rooms are styled with white coloured walls and large windows overlooking the Hong Kong skyline, mountains, or mythical Hollywood road. Hyper-equipped with the latest technology (21 inch flat screen TV, cable TV, Internet ...) all rooms also have a modern walk-in rain-shower.

The atmosphere was thought through for well being and breaks away from the city's intensity: soft white colour for the emotions, mineral green colour for relaxation, and earthy pastels to create a breeze. The furniture is made out of light-coloured wood and completes the soft and serene ambiance that makes guests feel relaxed and at home.

The Central Park Hotel uniquely combines an ideal and strategic central city location with a hip, Zen, and relaxed atmosphere: a heaven of peace in a bustling megapolis!

Special kudos goes to the BreeZe lounge and its large terrace overlooking the vegetation, but also to the guest rooms with their clever design, use of space and volumes, oversized windows, and colours and architecture. Both make staying at this boutique hotel a gratifying experience.

Hong Kong must do's

Discover Hong Kong differently and take an Architectour:

  • Appreciate the ultra-modernism of the first skyscrapers ... The oldest ones (did you say vintage ...) are signed by Louis Sullivan;
  • Do not miss the two IFC buildings (shops and offices) undersigned by Spence Robinson;
  • The Hong Kong Cultural Centre of Kowloon, probably the building with the most controversial architecture, is nevertheless one of the most famous ones;
  • Also stop by the SCBC building, artwork of Norman Foster;
  • and the building of the Bank of china: one of the most important buildings of Hong-Kong.

Make sure to check out the "light fireworks" of the evening, where colourful and rhythmic light animations "dance" from one building to the other. A truly unique and very pretty spectacle.

Other sights to see are:

  • Aberdeen,a fisherman village where traditional fishermen still live on their junks;
  • Kowloon, with its numerous markets (ladies market, goldfish market, jade market);
  • The Happy Valley hippodrome, with frantic horse-races betting;
  • And Causeway Bay, a young and hip neighbourhood.

Of course you should also try to pass by The Peak for its staggering view of Hong Kong skyline; Statue Square where colonial and ultramodern architecture rival side-by-side; the Star Ferry for a mythical crossing of Hong Kong to Kowloon; the charming island of Cheung Chau...

Finally and to go out, the Soho and Lan Kwai Fong neighbourhoods are safe bets. But you could also try an evening at the Chinese Opera at the Sunbeam Theatre on North Point.
