The Hôtel & Spa Les Pleiades is a 20 rooms and suites luxury boutique hotel in the center of the bucolic village of Barbizon. Only 50 km away from Paris, it is ideal for a charming escape. The hotel is partially built on the former studio of the painter Charles-Francois Daubigny, a member of the Barbizon school and precursor of Impressionism. The hotel has been the favorite place of many artists such as painters Corot and Millet, the famous music hall singer Mistinguett and the theater writer Sacha Guitry.

A charming luxurious gallery hotel

A white building on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, a courtyard bathed in light will attract you while entering the refined, seductive and luxurious "gallery hotel". Experience an artistic osmosis: warm colors, noble materials and many works of art scattered throughout the different spaces. The garden enhanced by a sculpture of Melanie Quentin shows a bronze called "the Flame" that depicts a couple tenderly embracing each other, a symbol of desire and love. To further improve the aesthetic spirit, you will be able to relax near the very design outdoor pool. You can treat yourself in the mosaic spa, which offers massages, steam room and an indoor pool.

The key "Club" of Les Pléiades is a bar-lounge with white or brown chesterfield chairs, glass bar, terrace.... You will be able to order a homemade or classical cocktail surrounded by a music influenced by the famous French singer " Gainsbourg"

Barbizon and its region

Barbizon is a mythical place of the pre-impressionist period, immortalized in the "l'Angelus" by Millet. In the late 19th century, Ganne hostel, which is now a museum,   welcomed Parisian painters who seek inspiration to paint on the ground of the Fontainebleau Forest. The village has retained its artistic soul. It is advised to walk through quiet alleys and visit the galleries, shops and museums. Follow the footsteps of the Barbizon artists and discover the house and studio of Jean-Francois Millet, who can be visited all year long.
A trail connects Barbizon to Fontainebleau in 2 hours by foot or 45 minutes by bike. At Fontainebleau, you will enjoy visiting museums, parks and gardens of this great historic site.
Furthermore another castle which should be visited is Vaux-le-Vicomte. A walk through this magnificent French garden will take you on a journey through time.
