The 20 hotel's rooms all face the Caribbean Sea and each of them boasts a customized artist's decoration. Colors, style, rustic "terra cotta" floor tiles, Egyptian satin cotton sheets... Inspired by the island's landscapes and its fauna and flora, Sandra Perez combines tailor made furnishings and shimmering colored local handcrafts to guarantee you a relaxing, exotic and refined escape!

Tempting Experience: taste Caribbean Gastronomy

Casa Sandra is the only gourmet restaurant on the Island of Holbox, and it is in a friendly and warm ambiance, focused on the Caribbean, that Chef Felix, nicknamed "the happy Cuban", welcomes you. In the menu: lobster bisque scented with tequila, fish fillet with cilantro habanero sauce, Guava cheese tart.
All used products are local, and fish, according to the famous René Redzepi chef, is "one of the best made of the Yucatan Peninsula".

Services and Activities

At Casa Sandra, you are free to relax on a hammock, on the edge of the pool, or enjoy a massage in your own room.

Enjoy sipping a fresh fruit cocktail or Cuban mojito at the Blue Lounge Pool Bar at the poolside with a musical accompaniment. The bar also offers a light lunch menu.

Choose between different tours to discover the island's fauna and flora or the Mayan temples, to practice some sailing, kayak, or catamaran,...there many ways to enjoy yourself. You can also rent a bike for nice rides on the island or go fishing.

Between fishing, hammocks and turquoise water, this small paradise corner called Holbox Island, has succeeded in staying protected by mass tourism, offering still today a lush vegetation wild nature. With only 2000 "mestizo" inhabitants (descendants of the Mayan, and Spanish and Cuban immigrants), and bursting with splendid fine sand beaches, the island is characterized by a small fishing village atmosphere especially appreciated by relax and peace lovers.

Holbox is part of the ecological reserve of Yum Balam, which covers 154 000 square kilometers of protected areas, where unique species reside.
